Families change quickly. Children grow, relatives visit, and the version of your family that exists this year will not exist in quite the same way next year.
Couples photography and family sessions with Prime Eye Photography stay relaxed and unhurried. We walk, talk, and let moments happen, with gentle direction whenever it is needed.
The photographs people keep on the wall are rarely the stiff ones. They are the frames where someone laughed, a child ran back to a parent, or two people forgot the camera was there at all.
As a family photographer, I build in time for both. You get the polished group portrait everyone asks for and the in-between moments that actually look like your family.
The same approach works for two people on an anniversary walk and for three generations meeting in one place for the first time in years. The pace changes, the intention does not.
Booking a portrait photographer for the whole family should feel easy. Here is what comes as standard.

Home, a park, a trail, or a spot with meaning. Familiar places help everyone relax faster.

Full group portraits, couples frames, siblings, grandparents, and individual portraits of each person.

Edited images arrive in a private gallery, sized for prints, cards, and sharing with family.
Sessions run from a short thirty minute update to a longer booking across two locations. Clients travel in from across the metroplex, and families who would rather have a family photographer in Dallas, TX come to them can be accommodated too.
Pricing by time keeps Prime Eye Photography an affordable photographer for annual family updates rather than a once in a decade expense. Weekend and early evening slots go first, so an early message helps, especially through the holiday season.
Thirty minutes suits a quick annual update. An hour is comfortable for larger groups, and two hours allows a second location or a change of clothes.
Coordinate rather than match. Soft, simple colors photograph well together, and comfortable clothes keep children far happier through the session.
Both are welcome. We keep the pace flexible, take breaks when they are needed, and work around naps and moods rather than against them.
Please bring them. Larger groups need a little more time, so mention numbers when you book, and we will plan the running order in advance.

Send the date, who is coming, and where you would like to shoot, and we will plan the rest together before the day arrives.
No two sessions should look exactly the same. Explore milestones, personalities, celebrations, and creative ideas photographed throughout the Dallas and Fort Worth area.
